Aerobics Avenue is a website that allows you to take part in various exercise and aerobics classes in the comfort of your home, in your own time.

Technical Questions
How do I use Aerobics Avenue?
Aerobics Avenue is simple to use. If you are new to Aerobics Avenue then click on the ‘new user’ tab beneath the login section, input your details as requested which will then activate your account. Once this is done you just have to find a class to view. There are several ways to find the right class on Aerobics Avenue. Your first option is to click on ‘list of classes’ on the homepage and scroll down until you find a class that takes your fancy. Secondly you can click on the ‘exercise’ tab on the homepage and then click on a category of classes which will give you a more accurate list of the class you are looking for. Thirdly you can type the name of the class into the search engine on the homepage which will take you directly to the class you are looking for.

Can I download a virus when I view your videos?
Aerobics Avenue is a streaming website which requires no downloading and is safer.

You can view the classes on a full screen by clicking on the rectangular symbol in the bottom right hand corner of the player.

You can view the classes on your television by buying a wireless media player from any leading retailer which allows you to connect your home PC to your television and view your internet content on your television screen.

If you are unsure always start with a beginner’s class then you can gradually increase the level when you are ready.

What is aerobics?
Aerobic exercise is used to strengthen the heart and lungs, increase the amount of oxygen in the blood and increase muscle tone and fitness.

Why do people do aerobics?
It is impossible to state all the reasons people may do aerobics as the reasons are countless however some popular reasons are: - to loose weight, increase their fitness levels, improve their health, give them more energy, relieve stress and socialise.

What should I do if I feel out of breath while exercising?
If you are out of breath STop exercising and consult a medical professional before continuing (please read the Aerobics Avenue terms and conditions).

How important is stretching?
Stretching does two very important things for our bodies; firstly it helps to extend our muscle fibres making us more flexible and secondly it increases the blood flow to our muscles. This helps to prevent injury whilst exercising however if you have any existing injuries or health problems please consult a medical professional (please read the Aerobics Avenue terms and conditions).

How important is the warm-up and cool down?
The Warm-up increases the blood flow to your muscles making them more flexible, and preparing them to stretch. It also prepares your heart for increased activity. The ‘Cool down’ helps your heart to return to normal after vigorous activity. It also helps to remove any waste that has built up in your muscles so that they are more prepared for the next exercise whether it is in an hour, the next day or the next week it is still important to prepare your muscles to reduce the risk of injury.

How long do I have wait after eating before I do aerobics?
You should not exercise on an empty stomach. It is important for your body to have some fuel to work on. However it is often recommended that depending on how heavy your meal is you should wait for at least ½ hour - 2 hours before exercising. The bigger the meal the longer you need to wait. However, if you have any health related illnesses please consult a medical professional (please read Aerobics Avenue terms and condition).
